Vera Allison

American, b. 1902
Born in San Francisco, on Dec. 5, 1902. Earned a B.A. degree at UC at Berkeley. Then worked in commercial art for Foster & Kleiser (billboards), and lived in Berkeley after her marriage to artist George Gaethke in 1929. Specialized in paintings in gouache and jewelry design. She has lived in Mill Valley, CA, since 1967. Member: Metal Artists Guild (founder); SFAA; SF Society of Women Artists; Marin Society of Artists. Exhibited: Gump's, 1949.
